BEIJING (AFX) - China Southern Power Grid expects a total power shortage of 13 bln kilowatt hours (kWh) this year, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) said on its website.
China Southern Power Grid also forecast that it will transmit 65.5 bln kWh of electricity from China's western regions to eastern regions this year, compared to 53.5 bln kWh last year.
